SAR AS receives awarded waste handling agreement for Statoil

SAR AS will deliver hazardous and industrial waste handling services from all Statoil office locations, offshore installations and onshore facilities within Norway, under an awarded agreement.

The contract has a term of six years, with the possibility of further extension of up to four years. If all options are exercised, the contract has a total value of up to Nkr 1.2 billion.

SAR has continuously provided Statoil with waste management services since 2002, and we appreciate Statoil’s renewed trust by choosing SAR as the exclusive supplier of nationwide waste handling services.

This is an important contract for our branches along the Norwegian coast, from Hammerfest in the north to Tananger in the south, as it secures jobs and a continued level of activity at these locations.

SAR AS offers total solutions for handling and treatment of all types of hazardous waste and drilling waste. In our treatment plants we turn waste into resources, and through professional counseling, we increase our customers’ recycling rate. Our customers are primarily from the oil and gas industry and land-based industries.

Through our long experience in Norway, SAR has established a good platform for further expansion and growth in our international operations.
