LUKOIL was announced winner of the ComNews 2019 award for Best oil and gas IT project for its integrated production modelling, adopted for commercial operation at the company’s West Siberian assets.
The model that the Process and Engineering Center employs as part of the intelligent fields project at South Yagun, East Ikilor fields and neighboring areas of other fields of West Siberia, is the most extensive digital production system in Russia, in terms of well and process facilities count: in total, the advanced digital tool allows control over 12 development assets and over 1.6 thousand production and injection wells.
The new digital model and the computerization of key production management processes it offers, increase overall efficiency of producing entities, optimize production, disclose available reserves, map out priority-based action plans and improve the quality of validation of operation modes for production and injection wells.
