Zenitel, a global leader and supplier of the STENTOFON® and VINGTOR® brands of communication systems, is pleased to announce approval and certification for its Exigo System.
Exigo passed DNV’s, the world’s leading ship and offshore classification group, regulations for public address and general alarm systems.
Exigo, based on native IP technology, is an advanced, scalable system specifically designed to meet the demands and needs of PA and general alarms for a variety of applications and environments. The Exigo solution offers enhanced features and functionality, yet is simplistic in installation for offshore, onshore, marine, and industrial environments. Its robust design is ideal for other markets such as infrastructure, building and site security.
To acquire certification, Exigo underwent extensive EMC, environmental and performance testing, production and delivery competence, and system documentation.
“We have received official approval from DNV for our Exigo PA/GA system covering all products in the Exigo portfolio,” said development manager Ole Erling Rosseland.
“This undertaking would not have been possible without the collaboration between departments in Zenitel, including product, R&D, technical documentation, QA, project and service/test teams. I send a huge thank you to everyone involved in this process to make this happen.”
“In addition to Exigo products approved, new items for the ACM certificate comprise all Turbine IP and analog intercoms,” said product manager Tom-Andre Tarlebo.
