CNPC and the People’s Government of Hunan Province reached a strategic cooperation agreement for the 13th Five-Year Plan.
CNPC Vice President Xu Wenrong and Chen Xiangqun, Executive Vice Governor of Hunan Province, signed the agreement on behalf of each side.
Under the agreement, CNPC and Hunan Province will establish a strategic cooperation partnership to carry out comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation in the oil and gas sector. CNPC will make efforts to expand its oil and gas business in Hunan through independent development and construction and JV cooperation, whereas Hunan Province will provide policy support and guarantee CNPC’s fair competition and sustainable development in the region.
