CNPC Chairman Wang Yilin met with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Chairman Yu Jianfeng in Beijing. After the meeting, CNPC and CNNC signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on the comprehensive development and utilization of geothermal resources.
CNPC affiliated Great Wall Drilling Engineering Company signed a cooperation agreement with China Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. on the comprehensive development and utilization of geothermal resources.
CNPC has advanced geothermal development technology and rich experience in geothermal resources development. CNNC has the qualification for geothermal resources exploration and development and geothermal power generation, as well as the capacity in geothermal power and geothermal energy utilization.
Under these agreements, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages and jointly promote the comprehensive development and utilization of geothermal resources at home and abroad.
