Following a two day audit, First Point Assessment Limited (FPAL) awarded EM&I the FPAL Verify status for a further two years. This is the 3rd FPAL Verify Assessment audit that EM&I has taken part in which has seen a steady improvement in the already excellent assessment scores awarded by FPAL year on year.
The audit, which was held at the EM&I (UK) Ltd Dyce office, was hosted by Peter Gresty, Manager QHSE & Training, for the areas of Quality, Health & Safety and Environment and by Dena Barton, HR advisor, for the area of Competency & Training.
Judy Burdett, Chief Marketing officer said “I am delighted with the results of the FPAL independent audit and encouraged by the positive results. My thanks go out to my colleagues at EM&I for their contribution in maintaining consistent high standards.”
FPAL Verify is the Oil and Gas Pre-Qualification system for suppliers to the industry and involves sponsorship by a purchaser.
The Health, Safety and Environmental sections of the Verify audit are assessed in line with recognised industry standards, namely; OGP & NORSOK.
FPAL Verify helps buyers independently assess the capabilities of suppliers working in high risk environments to the specific needs of the oil & gas industry and thus contributes towards raising industry standards whilst reducing supply chain risk.
